Loved your comment. Like JustA said, it's the lies that we need to walk away from.

Thanks for the information. You're right. The other definitions do add power to this concept.

It sees that you have a refreshing way of looking at spirituality
rather than the stereotypes that are so predominant and are not open to others' perceptions of spirituality

Great comment, “It is lies that require special efforts, that one man may unlawfully gain from another.” This is exactly what we need to walk away from.

Good thoughts, sannhet
The truth is out there, it is everywhere and effortless, we live in it like a fish lives in the water.  It is lies that require special efforts, that one man may unlawfully gain from another.

justa -- LOGOS
check out lexicons and other descriptions of the word

it is an all encompassing Greek word.

when I checked out lexicons, I discovered it means - EXPRESSION -- and PURPOSE -- this is a very powerful word.

it also can mean, by synonym, INTENT.

that is even more powerful.

the Logos came, not as the human, Yeshua, but as the mind of Yeshua -- which, as we can understand is "born of the spirit", as in John 3. "spirit" is "pneuma" -- air -- and this word means, air, wind, and thought and mind and such.

we put them together and we have an expression that cannot be defined but only partly arrived at.

allthe examples we have in Sanhet's post demonstrate this. Each arrives at the expression of the light in a different manner. Each has a different vision.

the light is there -- the door to a different perception is there -- the question is how do we open it? do WE open it? what will each of us see once the door is opened?

as our discussions show us, each of us will (and have) see something different.

Dear Mrs. Coen,

In a few days I will be going to India to assess the terrible situation that has developed as a result of the tsunami disaster. But before I leave, I want to let you know that even as the death toll continues to rise, our Gospel for Asia workers and volunteers are selflessly working long hours to minister among devastated people whose lives have been totally shattered.

Today, more than five million children and adults have lost everything - their possessions, their homes, food, clean water, and most tragically, their friends and loved ones. They are truly lost in body and spirit, and they need our help.

Your gift of only $100 will provide the vital aid that a family of four needs to survive during this critical time - and will give them God's hope for a new life. CLICK HERE NOW TO MAKE YOUR GIFT ONLINE.

Along coastal areas where we work in India, Sri Lanka, and Thailand, more than 40,000 people have been killed by the monster waves. And those who survive now face hunger, exposure, and disease from contaminated water.

Please pray for our GFA workers as they bring physical aid and spiritual hope to millions now suffering in the aftermath of the worst disaster to hit Asia in more than 100 years.

Your gift of $100 will bring immediate, life-sustaining aid to a family - and will let them know that God loves them.

May God bless you for your compassion.

Great post sannhet

For those who do not know logos means, “the divine word of God (Truth); the second person in the Trinity (Jesus)” and Jesus said “I am…The Truth…”
