Regarding your question abour migraines
Sorry to respond to you in your comments, but I don't know how the blogit e-mail thing works. Anyway, while emotional stressors and feelings of anxiety can bring out migraines, they are a very real phenomenon. The prevailing theory is one of neurovascular dysregulation, in which the nervous system control of the blood flow to the brain is faulty. Not that this would cause strokes, but instead, certain areas of the brain get engorged with blood. Since the skull cannot expand to accomodate this increased blood volume, the resultant pressure build-up causes an intense pain.

Nice work! I enjoyed reading all of your poems! I'm curious .. do you care to reveal what "forgotten land" you're refering to? It seems like it could be Israel, or Palestine .. or, maybe, rural Nebraska?
