Good luck on the job hunt...
sounds like you have a lot of apps going out so maybe something will come through!

Jemmie, keep plugging away at it. I'm sure something will come along...
I was out of work for two years...now I barely have time to blog! :-)

Cynthia
Thanks for the advice.  I do make sure that my cover letters are perfect.  I feel I must--not only to make a good impression, but also because I am a writer and editor and a perfectionist in both areas.

Jemmie, good luck in your job search.
You seem capable of any of those jobs that you mentioned.  Any employer would be lucky to hire you for an employee.

Jemmie, just a little advice
from someone who hires a lot of young people. Always send a good cover letter with your bio, ALWAYS check spelling and grammar, always date your material and include your contact info on every piece of paper you send out. If I see even one spelling or grammatical error, the person does not get an interview. I figure if they are not careful enough with the impression they make at this point, they certainly won't be after they are hired.
