I like distinguishing between natural fear and manufactured fear. That's a good way to put it. And I think for some people, some sort of fear is necessary. I don't know why, but it is. So, since there isn't much natural fear anymore, those that need fear manufacture it. It is almost as if it is something to hide behind. An excuse so one doesn't have to deal with certain things.

we're always afraid of something
that's in our nature -- it's a survival mechanism.
only thing is people create their own fears -- in their minds and through religion in the minds of others -- and there is the natural xenophobia that we like to make into something bigger and shut out others different from us.
see
there is fear that is part of our nature and for survival (not so necessary any more)
and then there is manufactured fear that shuts us out from realizing our better selves.
We have to recognize that fear, that it is hurting us.
when paul says "perfect love casts out all fear" -- there is a subject. I think we all have to learn to develop love -- make it better as we live.

As John Lennon once said, "The movement you need is on your shoulder."

To live in heaven…is to live without fear.

While you are probably right, maybe a little bit of corruption necessary to shake things up once and awhile, to assure the path remains clear. Maybe it is the price we pay to create an organization of change.

I prefer the dream over the current nightmare.

Good work, sannhet
Fear of responsibility is hard to overcome in a youth oriented culture.  Keep telling the truth.

In every moment we can choose fear or love ...love kills (casts out) fear
Good post and I agree with the king, we must begin with our own fear and love even it.

Sanhet, Every time an organization is founded for this dream, it is
corrupted.   Better some of us could begin the hard work of improving our own souls!
