Good for your brother
I've done a big variety of things in my life and a one point spent seven years driving over the road, 48 and Canada. I used to say that I was living in a box, and finally I just could no longer live in that box. I finished a degree that I had started many years ago in graphic design a year ago, and will never live in another box.

Taps, I did too. Well, I coached 5th grade, and girls high school track.
For about ten years I helped in the gym after school taking tickets, running the time clock, tooting at the refs, etc. I lovethe games, love baseball, and only tune in to football just before the superbowl. Even yet I haven't seen a football game. Too busy blogging. I like your writing style!

Would you believe that at one time I coached a girl's basketball team in a league for junior high age girls. It was so much fun. The games were so exciting. Yes, I watch it whenever I get a chance.

Taps, I am convinced that if I can get my children into college, that they
will opt for some form of medical training. I so want them to avoid the teaching life. Living from check to check is OK for one generation, but let it end there. Thank you for your comments. I was happy to know something else about you! Do you watch basketball?

Seriously, though, I found this one of your best, Mike.
It does help to "feel" the material entirely.

kingmi - This is a very interesting tale and a very inspirational one. It is interesting how many things one can squeeze into a lifetime. You asked about me being a nurse somewhere in a comment page. I became a nurse pretty late in life after I had completely raised a family and then cared for my parents for about ten years and was a grandmother of five (I think) by the time I graduated. I retired from full time work in 2003 and worked for a year part time about three days a week. I retired from that at the end of September but I am not sure that I won't go back. There is no reason that I can't if I want to.
