Hi Whacky
I've read all your mom & dad posts, they're really cool. I like the way you talk about everyday things in a funny way, it makes pleasant reading. I especially like the geese and the 5 lessons.
After a failed marriage, and watching many couples, I sometimes wonder if love still exists. It seems your folks were truly in love, and that gives me some hope of finding 'the one' eventually. I like the post where they're on the bed looking at the camera. and he says she's beautiful, and they hold hands, that's amazing. I hope I find a love like that someday.
Be blessed and keep sharing their memories, it's a gift that keeps giving at each post. I've read them several times and they never dim. Smile !

What did your dad die of?
Was he sick a long time? I ask myself often if I'd feel differently right now about losing my dad if he'd been terminally ill rather that killed in a car accident. If he were sick for a long time, I could have prepared myself for his eventual death. But he also would have suffered, and I wouldn't have wanted that.
Death sucks.

A good blog to keep
I have a blog about my dad as well . . . well, about him and my own attempts at working through the grief after his death. Daddies are so wonderful.
