The spending fuels their vehicle of propaganda. More publicity from the event. There maybe the fallacy of the wrong idea that cheaper is not good enough.

david1spirit I am going to post a list of what we paid for. For example, although she looked lovely we paid almost one hundred thousand dollars for three ball gowns and shoes for the First Lady.
