At first blush, I guess you are right. But that is a good kind of judgement. You are doing it to help the person. It's not malicious, nor demeaning or disrespectful. But I need to think on this a bit more.

I think we must judge people. We can't help it, for one thing, but we can define the parameters. We need to have a sense of scale about what we think they're needs are and what we might be able to give; and we must calculate about what might work.

Yeshua loved, respected and showed extreme tolerance
toward the believer
but not toward the belief system that place the believer in chains
it was that system, not the believers, that crucified him.
if you will notice, it crucifies a lot of us, even here on Blogit.
