everybody's right
there is the great "I" as in the ego
the self importance.
back to Castaneda
one of the four basics is "Lose self importance."
drop the "I" and find the "I AM" -- the connection with what is Existence -- the all around.
The I is limiting. It comes from our primate ancestry -- preservation of the self -- in this case, "Self" -- we fear losing that "Self" -- that which we suppose ourselves to be -- that which has been molded into us by our maturing environment.
All that is, is what we are -- it is part of us. We cannot exist without that which is outside -- but we must make it a part of ourselves.
And yet, as you say, the Kingdom of Heaven (spiritual realms), dwells within us, not without. We must tap into that which is within us in order to fulfill the real "I", which is an integral part of all which is and at the same time encompasses all which is.

The name of God…is IAM.

One cannot find IAM, without first answering to who “I AM”. I know…it sounds like a riddle, but it is not. Accept it all…and the reward is to get it all…

"whosoever shall lose his life…shall preserve it."

So we should ask ourselves…who are we…and what do we really know???

In that…one can know everything there is to know…

Kingmi -
You're right. But the Ego must be overcome, the "self" must die, in order to reach "God".

Sannhet, He meant God's kingdom is life. Defined many different ways.
