I don't know about your neck of the woods...

but here the Office Depot stores will give you a free ream of white recycled printer paper (good quality) for every empty printer cartridge you bring in, no matter how large. They don't want ribbon cartridges, but I turned one in and got my ream. Nice saving there.

Good advice, Mum!
Thanks!  I'm looking at getting rid of my cell phone since I'm broke.  Already using a credit union.  Paid off my car over a year ago (yay).  Probably going to go back to UH's internet service since it's free to me (albeit SLOW).  Etc.

It shouldn't cost so much to be a member of society. This problem also existed in the Roman Empire and it collapsed. Everything comes down to economics. I am taxed for a lot of crap yet I recieve nothing from government. The exchange is getting to be more and more- not worth it. I think that I'll go live in a cardboard box. Any recommendations as to the best place to find cardboard?
