Absolutely. While Jesus opened the door to the ballroom of the spiritual realm, many others have opened doors to the vestibule.

And that one spirit…is each persons truth (lord).
All together they form one.

I think you're right sannhet
Diversity is a source of strength of people who need to learn how to get along. I see it from both sides of the fence, that only Jesus opened the door, no other. But how many doors did any of us walk through today and I doubt if we know the name of the carpenter who built ANY of them. We don't need a password to get through that door, the hard part is FINDING it.

Thanks. And I agree. Unfortunately, the light for some is rather dim.

Thanks. It's amazing how regimented and limiting some can be, isn't it?

I think everyone is given a measure of faith and as they walk in the light
they are finding their way to the source of light, the light giver. Nice post.

Sannhet, lately I have been wondering about the "limits" placed on God.
I don't know why because it makes no sense whatsoever. Very nice post!!!!!

Interesting points. I like reading different interpretations of the verses.

I agree. The concept of Christ is what I alluded to when I wrote about him speaking of his approach, and not necessarily his person.

You are right. And that is one way of interpreting it. My statements are also in the Bible, and I've offered my (and many others) interpretation. Anyone who truly loves and forgives is following Yeshua and doing "God's" work. And I mean no offense in using the Hebrew name for Jesus.

the only name
Christ
but I consider Christ a concept. I also would have to question King James English since that translation was influenced by previous translations, as I have noted in links in my posts.
the concept is noted in the statement "if someone tells you that 'Christ is here!' or 'Christ is there!', do not believe them, for as the lightning shines from the east to the west, so shall the coming of the Son of Man be." (paraphrased somewhat)
Christ is like lightning. It has a source in one portion of the sky, but through the excitement of electrons it light up the entire sky. The Son of Man (that is, mortal humans) will "come" (that is, will come to understand what Christ, or Salvation, really is) in this manner -- light in one section will move from its source and first, those closest, then those increasingly farther away, will themselves illumine and they are illumined.
this is Christ, the way to salvation.
But, like the entire night sky and the lightning that illumines it, there are many paths through which that illumination is achieved.

In No Other Name
can one find salvation. If I remember rightly that is in the Bible. And the name is "Lord."
