Amen, Voyager9940,

why weren't we all born Australian?  But don't be too hard on your native land, tabloid-itis has struck just about everywhere, so... Anybody for a round of Foster's?

About 20% of the reporting in the Belgian news this evening, was about his presumed communism ideas and supports... that's why it stroke me. Oh yes, and another 20% about Marilyn of course. We can be so little .... in our so little country! Why wasn't I born Australian?

Thanks, Voyager9940.
I didn't know that.  Miller wrote "The Crucible" in reaction to McCarthyism in America.  Maybe that's where the Belgians got the idea.  I am not familiar with Miller as a communist (or any other political leanings, for that matter), but I am also not that 'up' on the man's personal life, either.

In the early 60's, while willing to attend a premiere of his movie, he was denied entrance to Belgium because of his suspected communist sympathies. Later he was reinstated, fortunatly.
