it needn't be so grim you know.
Yeah sure there are shops not even worth entering unless you are waif-like but go to a good store which offers a proper-fitting service. These stores which only offer small sizes are losing themselves so much business.
It is all in the fitting (if it fits everything will be kept in) but if a bra is ill-fitting and leaves a shelf atop well that will draw attention.
There are lots of brands now which cater to large sizes and even a few without all that hideous wire. And when you find something which fits buy two or three to keep you going until your next fitting. You could buy one at the store and then perhaps find the same model cheaper on line.
The other thing is to focus on other aspects of yourself and draw attention to other physical attributes and your demeanor and personality.

I Have One Suggestion for Big Busted Women!
If you have physical ailments from your bust being too big, most insurance companies will pay for plastic surgery breast reduction; it beats them paying for back surgeries later on. Even Medicaid pays for them for their clients in my state.
