Good point. It does make me want to learn more when I speak with someone who is at a different level than I, whether lower or higher - it pushes me.

Excellent Post sannhet

Even the blind reside at their appointed levels. All people are where they are supposed to be at this minute. Besides, they motivate the seekers to soul search even deeper.

I agree. Their actions point them out. If they could just get past their fear, they would see how wonderful the Truth really is.

You are right sannhet, about the seekers at least
Unfortunately there are some among us who are not seeking the truth. They are hiding it or hiding from it because it gets in the way of their desires. I don't know why they are that way and I don't really know who they are, but I can see them by their actions well enough.

Exactly. The two (spiritual and conscious) maturity go hand in hand.

similar to human maturing

youngsters accept what is told by adults

black and white that's it

then into adolescence -- arguing with adult accepted -- seeking a self -- but still tied to the black and white of the child --- rebelling against the rules recognizes the rules.

then young adulthood -- black and white yes -- but a consciousness of the self as ultimate authority -- no broaching of differences.

then discovering that black and white don't work with life.

discovering that life responds to a greater good.
