salvation is
it just is.
knowledge is understanding that salvation is
learning helps us understand more.
thank you for what you are telling us.
we all grow from this, I am sure.

Thanks. I had the same experience. Listening to the still small voice within allowed me a better understanding of the Bible and other religious documents.

looking within
being so mental, i found that studying my own inner thought patterns helped more than anything. then i could go back to the bible, and it made sense. i can see in it now what i never could before. great post.

I like that...

"Whoever does not understand how he came will not understand how he will go."

Thanks. And I think grace is necessary as well. Just as I think that, though one must look inside to find Yeshua, the Church has its place to help us learn about who we are and where to look.

There's nothing quite like looking, sannhet
If you want to find something.  That quote often goes through my head.  I'm not sure of where it came, maybe The Wind in the Willows.  Of course, The Gospel of Thomas is considered gnostic because some felt that knowing was emphasized too strongly over grace as the way to salvation.  I personally think that both in some degree are necessary because Jesus can't show us anything unless we KNOW what He said.  I also think finding things out is not nearly as hard as deciding to look.  Good post.
