yes it's a lonely path
you look around for fellow travelers and see few.
you knokw that no one else will help you along the path
it's just a discourse between you and that which you seek.

The good news is that ever so often…there’s a clearing.

Well put. Spirit will recognize Spirit. Wisdom will recognize Wisdom. Love will recognize Love.

A very good point. Though sometimes what appears to be positive energy is negative is disguise.

Sannhet, you said very true thing in one of your recent posts.  With all your reading and studying, you recognize truth by the feeling in your gut.  In John, it also said to know the spirit by the spirit.  If a spirit recognizes Jesus as Lord, then it is a true spirit, if not, then it isn't.  With all St. Paul's knowledge of Jewish law and tradition he still wrote, "I come to you with much fear and trembling, resolved to know only Jesus Christ and him crucified, so that you may not be convnced by wise and persuasive words, but by the power of the spirit."

Every path goes one step at a time, but the right path gives energy back while the wrong one only takes it.
