We're the odd ones, eh, jacenta, who enjoy typing. I find it relaxing. Yes, Ann, Winters is busy. She's working very hard to be self-sufficient, and she is succeeding in spite of some long odds. We're very proud of her.

Hello Witchflower,
Interesting post. I also enjoy typing. Nice you found something you enjoy doing and can get payed for it, too.

Excellent post. I used to read Winters and wondered why some bloggers were so busy they dropped out of sight.
Ann.

Thanks for reading and commenting.
Yes, I am grateful for my fingers. And I don't have carpal tunnel syndrome, which surprises some people since I've been typing for so long. I learned to type the "old-fashioned" way, without resting my wrists on anything. I also do yoga-type stretches and exercises with my hands and fingers. I'm very grateful for that, too.
I'm no doctor, of course, but it sounds like you may have some nerve damage in those fingers. My husband has a similar, and more advanced, problem after severing some nerves several years ago and having them reconnected.
It's wonderful to be able to make music. I envy you that. And overcoming a broken back. You're amazing! Take care.

I notice in the last few years that my two last fingers on my
left hand are a little stiff, that is they "stick together" more than they used to. They don't give me any problem when I am writing, typing playing guitar or piano, but I do notice that funny sensation. You should be grateful for your fingers. I am for mine, especially since I broke my back and already have a gimpy right leg. Take care.
