Most senior citizens experience their second childhood phase in their twilight years. Touching story about the reversal of roles.

It is tough for a new invalid to develop a worth while hobby. Using the eyes will make the invalid tired and is a kind of babysitter too.

Wonderful post, Wacky...
You did the right thing for your father. God bless you for it!! I was blessed to have parents who didn't listen to the doctors who told them I'd never have a meaningful life after I was diagnosed.
What I'd liked to have asked them was...and please excuse my languge..."Who the hell do you think you are, anyway??"
ALL LIFE is valuable and sacred in the eyes of God who made us. If doctors would learn to respect His authority, we wouldn't have to deal with jerks like the doctor your father was left with who truly think they are God.
Thank you again for sharing this story...God bless.

You know what they say
We come into this world with no hair, no teeth, wrinkly skin, and poor eyesight and we'll probably go out of the world much the same way. That incluldes the having to have somebody watching over you like a parent.
