Hitting yourself in the head...

will only give you a worse headache than the terrible grammar and diction did. Trust me. The Grammar Guru lives this nightmare day in and day out. "Your crazy," "that's you're book," "apple's for sale" ... need I go on!?

Take comfort in the fact that there are some few of us left who hate this sloppiness as much as you do ... and we are just as disgusted, irritated, and frustrated as you.

Language Only Changes Through

...misuse. Don't axe me why because I don't have a pacific answer. I swear, though, people who get down like that are just off the hook, in my book. See what I'm sayin'?

Sure, language evolves over time, but...
these people who play fast and loose with rules of grammar and vocabulary are indeed very irritating.

How about this one ? "Try to be more pacific with your queery ? " LOL
I know it's not funny, but I can't help it. I'm not the worlds greatest, when it comes to grammar and spelling, but yes, I agree with you 100% .

structure matters
Even if I weren't an english teacher, I would still be highly irritated by the granite malopropism. It's funny you mention chatters because I was just chatting with a friend and I noticed all his abbreviations and mispellings and it was difficult for me not to call him on it for the very reason you have stated; its only a matter of time before it becomes convention. Let us unite to keep structure a priority.
