My friend has three teenagers
staying with her, two girls and a boy. Their dad was molesting the kids since they were 2 or 3, even forcing the son to give him oral sex. The mother knew about this, and did nothing. They put the guy in jail, and she bailed him out. She claimed the kids on her tax return and bought new carpeting and furniture for her house while my pregnant friend borrowed money from her mom to buy the girls prom dresses. Some people do deserve the death penalty because they are pieces of crap. Take care Loanlady :)

LoanLady--yes, she was cute. The accused had a lot of problems with
basic interaction skills, it seemed.

Darrkethoughts I've done kickboxing for a couple years I think I'll have them sign up for karate, both my kids are athletic but not aggressive, so might toughen them up to bad guys.

johnmcnabb only thing with that procedure is I am not sure it would totally stop them so I think we have to also give them the frontal labodomy to keep them non violent

Anthony1Wiley I like the image of them chopping up ice cubes for their remaining days on earth ( or one cold hell).! This week there were so many stories revolving around children abuse and murder it's been bothering me.

LoanLady--The guy in Fla. and his relatives or house guests all were night
people, it seems; no one remembered seeing anyone come or go to that house.

Self-defense classes, esspecially martial arts have a lot to offer besides just protecting yourself, they buid self-esteem, help keep the kids in shape, develop grace and balance. All around good idea!

Well that is a horribly upsetting blog subject you write about luv. Yes, I'm like you.It seems there are more such stories now than when I was young. I can't help thinking that the prevalence of hard drugs has something to do with that problem too.
Well I can't say I believe in the death penalty, we don't have that in Canada anyway. But I sure would build a giant institution up in the arctic for that kind of human. Of course there would be no possibility of parole for even one offense.
And I would put 'em to work cutting ice-making ice cubes or something like that-and if they wanted to commit suicide that's one place where assistance could be offered

LL... it's a screwed up world.
The best we can do is keep our kids aware.

Mayb Balance you are right because scare tactics make them walk less strong and attract trouble.

Scriber I wonder if they could have looked him up. I would be spray painting sicko on his garage door at night. Even without these websites often children in a neighborhood sometimes know where a wierd person sticks out.

You have to find the right mix of protecting them and informing kids. Too much cotton wool does not do the trick because one day you have to remove it

In the Fla. case the offender apparently lived just across the street.
