Absolutely. Spirit is immortal, so we are immortal, just as Yeshua is.

I think it is immortality that we access, as you suggest. It's the universal energy that is "God" and will always Be.

I think that might be true. It's like learning a new concept of some kind. Once you learn of it, you discover that others have discovered the same thing. It's all assessible to any of us, if we want it.

Maybe that's why I always have that feeling that someone is sneaking up on me?

Exactly. Thanks for commenting.

What if you already are immortal?

If you percieve your self as being a spirit and having a body, instead of the other way around, all sorts of things come into a somewhat different focus.

hit on a good point
when we transcend the body and the mind, we become immortal in a sense, and are everywhere and nowhere. bodies shift and change, minds expand and contract, but spirit is eternal. thanks, sannhet

i call it the "Christ Concept"

it is what has been passed on . . .

the understanding

something more?

many of us are coming to the same conclusions.

it is interesting

that my daughter's "church" -- Religious Science -- the thoughts and ideas going through that and several related groups -- are very similar to what we have discussed here -- even similar to her brother, kooka, who ascribes to Atheism.

I think there very could be something behind it - a possibility

a lot of people discovering the same things.

He's RIGHT BEHIND YOU!!!

Sorry, I'm in a goofy mood.

It is an interesting concept, though, and one that I can't disagree with.

Jesus himself said:

"Split a piece of wood and I am there...".

He is everywhere!
