Yes, it is separate
But that is also part of the problem, for me anyways. We are all connected spiritually, we cannot ever really be separated from each other. The hard part is for most (myself included) is to allow our outer selves (ego) to let our inner selves (spirit) into the world.

I realize that sometimes I divorce my spiritual life with "the rest of my life." I don't seem to do it here at Blogit, however I do in my everyday life, I have definately compartmentalized. I think this is mainly do to the fact that my spirituality is not your regular run of the mill religion, perhaps I keep it a secret because I hold it so sacred and do not want to get into any negative response or discussion about it.
