I hope the chicks made out all right.
Is it still raining? Send some my way. We need it over here.

What an unusual thought... baby chicks needing a look-see at the sky... incredible children... distracted chicks who missed the morning light?... thanks for your comment, I would like to "fatten" my shorties into feature length films...

I love daylight saving! Why can't we have it all year around? I did like the description of your morning - brought back memories...

Hilarious stuff. We have a GM car, which guarantees the clock is correct for six months of the year. The other half of the year it is only an hour out - depending on which Province we are in.

Ann and Ben I'm sure chickens are illegal in Laguna but we had some in my old life and they were funny pets- we let them out in the morning to eat all the bugs and then put dinner in the coop to get them in safely at night. Most of ours were tame but the roosters could fend off a kitfox or cat with great vigor. Think I will have to find them a horse ranch in San Juan when they get bigger to roam around and be happy. Good thing son told me last second as he got out of the car.

the-loanlady,
The chicks need an enclosure for protection. A cat might even maul a hen.
It is a good day for you, your chicks are still happy.
Ben.

sassyass_64 I now had another coffee ( usually I only have half a cup) and I'm all perky until the 3:00 let down - better go hunt for chocolate to keep happy. Went home at lunch and chicks are still alive!

I didn't mind setting them back
Its the setting them forward that irritates the hell out of me. I ended up going to bed much later then I should have on that wonderful day.
