Uni Hacker,
Well, does anyone near you get offended by fish burps? I have a bunch in my cupboard, I take them when I remember to.  I know it's not pleasant, but if you read up on it, it's fantastic. Check out Pubmed and search on Dr. Stahl and omega-3 fatty acids.  I mean, considering all the other pharmaceutical crap that's out there, taking something that's actually good for you, I think belching is a small price to pay.

Factor
It's very very very dissuading, isn’t it? =P

Blah, actually I have tried them myself in the past.
One of those supplements that MS patients swear by... I still have trouble eating fish now. I tried taking them for a while, but I wound up throwing a lot away. Just toooo gross

Rachel
It does burn slightly, but hey, it's better than lingering fish taste =P

I'd say blaming the wife is a perfectly acceptable action. I mean, you certainly can't pass up the broccoli

LMAO!
Only you would think of chewing up a few altoids!  Yikes!  :)

I get a similar thing when I go to parties and they have veggie trays... I'll eat some broccoli - the best of the dipping vegetables - and then drink soda.  Bad combo.  Everytime I burp I have to make sure I run out of the room or blame the stench on my wife.
