- Go to Sin is Forgetfulness, That's All

Thanks for the clarification. That is exactly what I was trying to say.

Taps - I think you misunderstood the post. sannhet wasn't implying that sin is forgetting to do things. "So, we sin from forgetfulness, from not remembering how to live as spiritual, loving beings." That statement makes sense to me... we can tend to forget ourselves in our daily routines and such, and this leads to us doing things against God and against our loving nature.

Sannhet, I'm afraid that God speaks of sin more as rebellion against him tha just being plain old forgetfulness.

That could be right, sannhet
I've run into a few that seemed to have a couple of lifetimes' experience in doing exactly the wrong thing.

That could be. But I do think that there are those who are born with "spirit" from the get-go, and never truly sin. They know no evil. Additionally, if one's universe were to include the possibility of reincarnation, then it wouldn't matter if one knew nothing of spiritual living before dying. One would just keep working toward that fabulous goal.

That's an interesting idea, sannhet
But I wonder about the ones who never knew about spiritual living to begin with. I sometimes think original sin might be the animal nature from which we decended. Our 'knowledge of good and evil' was simply growing up and becoming human.
