I have a great serial killer kinda plot for a book/movie I just do not have
the time. If anyone has the time let me know and I will lay down the plot, and you can have it.

Oh you must must watch it. Anthony Hopkins is amazing as Hannibal. I promise, Silence of the Lambs is not super gory at all. There's one scene you might want to look away, but other than that it's really not all that bad. It's more of a mess with your mind movie. Watch it =)

Darkchylde

A very good point indeed! I did a post on that a while back actually, about what the purest evil really looks like. Rather than be a click mongger, I'll just post a picture to give you an idea =)

Remember that guy? He looks like a nice guy. A nice, handsom, charming guy. Scary, ain't it?

My husband loves that movie...but I have refused to watch it so far.
I can handle reading books, but I don't do movies of that nature well... I may have to try it at some point though.

Darkchylde - On Hannibal Lecter

To me, the real reason H. is THE NUMBER ONE Psycho/Killer - is the whole 'innocence' of the guy. A clean cut, upper class gent who is well versed and educated in ALL worldly matters. You could walk past him in the street and not know what he was up to.

You would be more prone to think that Killers have some kind of manic look in their eyes, some way to give you a clue - (a bit like burglars wearing striped black and white jumpers, and carrying bags with SWAG written on them) - when more often than not, they are the most trust worthy people - they have to be to get closer to their victims.

It has been described as 'Love at first Death', very true - so look closewr peeps...

Bye the way, anyone got any spare Fava Beans?....

Great movie, fascinating topic to discuss - Hi Ariala, long time no speak

Later peeps - Darkchylde

Very true...I watched Red Dragon two weeks ago, and Hannibal before
that, but haven't seen Silence in a very long time!  Thanks for writing this...it was fun to read!

Hehe, remember, when he said all of that to her he didn't know about the screaming lambs yet =)

Oh, okay, well, since the movie was about "lambs," I would have thought
it would be lamb!  Sorry, guess I'm his next meal after all.

Ariala
Actually nope, it's really lamp. Think a miner's lamp. It would smell like kerosene or however you spell it.

I see I'm going to have to watch Silence of the Lambs again...LOL Beautiful

post on the monster you and I both love so much!  Wouldn't it be cool to interview him?  Oh yes!  Too bad he's not real, then again...

I could hear his accent and see his face as I read that great quote.  You need to fix lamp to lamb (typo) cause ifI know Hannibal, he'd serve your liver sauceed over a hot lamp for that mistake!
