To experience the divinity of God-- as distinct from the recognition of God
in everyday things-- one has to clear the obstructions out of the way that come between us and God.  I'm talking about all kinds of obstructions, on physical, mental/emotional, and spiritual levels. When it's possible for the highest energies of all to flow into us, to be perceived and recognized, that is the experience of the Divine.

Interesting thoughts.  I think that many times I am reminded of God by things I percieve through my 5 senses.  But I am also aware that those times I am in a more meditative state and so can pick up on it easier.  Same situation, and two different attitudes in myself.  In one I will "see" God, in the other I won't.  And the only difference will be in my heart.

to paraphrase two particular passages in the scriptures, "God speaks to various people in various manners (from Hebrews) and "with a stuttering or stammering tongue and halting speech, here a little and there a little."
in other words, god is not defnite.
again -- like water that conforms to the shape of its vessel.
the important thing is to seek
seek means to question, explore the new vistas, find the treasure that is waiting.
along our individual paths, each of us finds their particular treasure.

metta's got a good point
He is the here, not here. The now, and not now. The known that makes the unknown possible. The ego and its ability to see itself disappear. I used to think that God was only in the transcendence; but, I realize now that God is everything. I know you already know this, though, sannhet. i'm just going through it for myself. you know how it is!

Metta -

For me, going outside and experiencing God, as I believe one can do, is experiencing God indirectly. By interacting with Nature, I am indirectly experiencing God. By interacting with my neighbors, I am indirectly experiencing God. Directly experiencing God (beyond unconditonal love), I believe, can only happen by going within.

I agree and I disagree.  If God is Everything, and I believe God is, God is that too... God is illusion as much as He is Reality...  I go inside and meditate to meet God, but also when I walk outside my door, I can greet God everywhere I go, everywhere I look.
