Thank you all

My aunt has never had a heart problem before.  Gramma is the one who has a really bad heart.  But I hear those things run in the family.  Thanks so much for your prayers for her and your positive energy.

I have a problem with my blood pressure.  I know Daddy had a bp problem as well.  So I'm screwed from both sides of the family (since Gramma and my great aunt are both on my mother's side).

I think they have to wait for a patient to stabalize - kind of recover from the heart attack before they start cutting on them too.  I'm sending some positive thoughts your way & your aunt's.

Jemms

Lots of prayers and positive energy coming your way.

My Dad had a pacemaker put in and they definitely need to stabilize the person before having them under anesthesia, that's probably why the delay.

Take care

You're all in my thoughts and prayers, Jemmie...

Sometimes, depending on the severity of a heart attack, it's dangerous to put a person through surgery because complications can set in due to the anesthesia.  Also, depending on if they've had previous cardiac episodes, the heart muscle may be too weakened to withstand the proceedure.

Best wishes for you...God bless.
