I am so annoying right now....
I am constantly pointing out things to Mike that I don't normally get to see. 
Right now I am drunk with it. Doc says the whole trapzoidal thing will go away in a few days and if it doesn't they will adjust the glasses.
But you are right. Being able to really see is a blessing that I am very grateful for.

How wonderful, Goddess!
That's wonderful news. Sounds as though life will be easier, as well as much more enjoyable, from now on. It's a tribute to modern technology. So many things are possible now that even a few years ago were impossible.
P.S. That trapezoid effect should go away as you adjust to the glasses, right? If not, maybe your optometrist can check the prescription and adjust it.
