Yeah, MysticGmekeeper,
they say that is Ann Coulter's job also. Misdirecting attention to her assininity while assuaging the guilt complex of the conservative right with her outlandish remarks. Add her ostentatiously stupid rhetoric with the Bush admininstration's overplayed, moronic John Wayne swagger and you have the current state of the GOP. Republicans deserve better; the American public deserves far better;as does the world.

one big reason is that this particular bunch of folks we put in power
never admits they were wrong....about anything , ever! Thats one of their magic tricks....seems to work too.

I think they're still looking for post 2008, aren't they?
Or do you think that Bush might try to pull off a popularity coup right at the end of his fucked up administration by bringing our troops home before a new prez sits in and has to do his dirty work? His ability to flip-flop and turnaround makes Kerry look like a rank amateur -- and I will not put it past the man to try to do an end around like pulling the troops out, then do some Orwellian doublespeaking to make everyone feel it was a justified conflict all along.
And the mention is well-deserved. Anything for a vet, man. You (and others that have been and still are in th services) are the reason why we're still able to do things like this and complain about our neighbors.
