- Go to Frist condemns judicial filubusters in church!
Writer of Blight ...
The Republicans liked the filibuster just fine when Clinton was in office.

The truth, fwmystic. . .
. . . is that the party that plainly lost the 2004 election is screwing with the democratic process. Go back to your civics class. Democracy is one man, one vote. Frist hit it right on the head when he condemned Reid and the others for denying the basic principle of democracy of a fair and honest vote.
Republicans hold the majority in Congress. They cal lthe shots. Democrats are the minority. They have a say in the advise and consent process, but they do not have any business behaving like a bunch of spoiled kids holding their breathes until their faces turn blue.

Writer of Blight ---
What has liberals and moderates in a lather is Frist and the a segment of the white religious right's contention that to oppose the judical filibuster is to oppose people of faith. But nobody said these dopes were the sharpest tools in the shed. The truth is you support the judical branch when it agrees with you and opposed it when it rules against you.
