another 'light' that has been mentioned is en'light'enment, or 'lightening' the burden of problems. airy and ethereal in nature. i think that they are both interconnected.

knowledge is light in this world, as is better understanding.
there is a beacon, I think, shining in the darkness. Those that are of the light see the light. The darkness, though, as John 1 says, "comprehendeth it not".
doesn't know what the light is -- although darkness acknowledges light, darkness cannot comprehend it. like a beacon- it is a solitary light, with the darkness all around remaining darkness.
in this realm, the light is faint and far away like a star and its solitary light blinks similarly, hard to see, yet there for whoever can comprehend it.
much mist and darkness lie between the seeker and that light which is sought.
is god light?
what is god?
let's express this differently, then. light is god -- the light of increasing knowledge and understanding is god, and closer to god than the previous lack thereof.
problem is we imagine a concept and place on its shoulders attributes and other imagery.
the more i seek god, the less i know god. god h as changed fro mthe anthropomorphic male creator omnipotent, omniscient, through the Universe as a whole and all that is in it -- finally to become just the moment.
and nothing outside of the moment.
light is in this god. that's all i know

Yes you have. And I agree. But I am wondering if "God" as light is a little different. While "God" is everything, I am wondering if there is a distinction based on energy levels. Though alive, a tree has a different energy level than light - a different vibrational level, if you will. So if "God" is light, is there a more direct access for us because of the higher energy level? Just curious . . .

Interesting. Then would you say that the Bible is all allegory? I've often thought that, but I do believe that Yeshua was on the earth teaching, so I'm having a tough time reconciling that.
