Nothing new or comforting offered about Iraq,
the deficit/economic situation, so my answer is no. Thank you for asking.

TERM LIMITS ARE THE ONLY ANSWER
Im not a huge fan of either political party, however there is no way the democrats are going to give Bush credit for anything. Bush could end world hunger, and the democrats wouldnt acknowledge it. In one of my posts, i speak of term limits for senators and congressman. If these leaders didnt have to worry about getting re-elected, they might actually get some work done, and the partisanship might not be such a way of life in Washington. I say bring back the true Statesman, and to hell with the politicain.

THOSE OPPOSING A GOOD & MUCH NEEDED SOCIAL SECURITY REVISION
COULD DASH THEIR POLITICAL HOPES FOR THE FUTURE. ARE THEY AFRAID OF THE PLAN OR OF GIVING BUSH CREDIT FOR A GOOD PLAN ??

IM FINE WITH THE PRESIDENTS PLAN
I for one would love to be able to have a diversified retirement account instead of social security. I am 33, and I have no faith that social security will be in tact 35 years from now. Who knows by then it may be 45 years from now. If the system has enough of a shortfall, we may have to be 85 years old before we can collect it. With technology the way it is and advances in medical science, people are living longer, and collecting their checks longer. The system is no good for younger workers, and I firmly beieve that we should be able to use our social security taxes for a system that will be around when i reach my golden years.
