Hey, Frankenkitty, you may have a point there about the
fiance. We really don't know (or do we? or should I say you?) But I'm not talking about the volunteers that searched for her, I'm talking about the people our tax money pay to look for people who are actually missing, not floundering around looking for a cold-footed dimwit who couldn't stand the thought of marrying Mister Control Freak and didn't have the nerve to tell anyone.

In fact, I haven't listened to NPR for quite some time, not since I quit delivering pizzas for extra bucks. Damn, I miss Michael Savage.

I disagree. Looks to me like her
ex-fiance was some kind of control freak who totally overreacts. Not that she shouldn't have called him. Knowing he would overreact and possibly threaten her makes me wonder about the stability of the relationship. People who volunteer for a search party do so willingly and should have the common sense to know that they could be given misinformation and their efforts wasted. If there was exact 100% reliable information than the girl wouldn't be lost in the first place.

Sadly, littlemspickles, it began as a true search
for a missing person. That is why I, and probably a few hundred other million taxpayers (including those in Duluth, Georgia) beleive she ought to be sent the bill. Hell, if bend a guardrail or knock over a sign (and they somehow find out its you who did it), you get the bill for replacement. Why shouldn't this cold-footed twit get billed for this waste of time she could have stopped with a few words or a phone call?

Speaking of stress reducers, kingmi. That was nice of you, what you were
doing for Ariala. You know what I do for stress reduction? I listen to new age or smooth jazz or flamenco guitar musci. Sometimes its keyboards and saxes and drums, but for the most part, it has to be guitar-driven.

How about Billy Thorpe's "War of the Worlds." What do you think of it? And ya know, Johnny Depp's next movie is a remake of that old classic.

I asked for Sonny and Cher, she had it! Ariala seemed down in the dumps, so I thought I'd cheer her up. I hope she gets lucky tonight, she's a little tense!

Man, I look and talk like the guy. Of course, I didn't really know that
until the movie,
Private Parts, came out. My best friend calls me up in the middle of watching it on VHS and says, "I'm watching a movie about this Jewish radio jock who looks and talks just like you." Now, by talking 'like', he meant with the opinionated, self-assured way Stern talks, not the accent. And, yes, I do have semi-long curyl hair. It is shoulder length, for I am attempting the mullet comeback coif. Back in my college days, it stretched nigh unto the topmost portion of my buttocks.
