Scoop, it may be difficult but they must do something, otherwise others will do it also. Remember the college girl in Wisconsin, I saw on the news tonight that she has to pay $9.000.00 with a payment of $ 250.00 per month.

I still don't see how they can charge her, people take off and go missing

everyday on their own, they, the family and authorities ASSUMED the worse, I know it cost the city money but I can't see how they can charge her, The only thing yhey have and they know it, is the 9/11 call and that is it. How is the mayor going to sue her? Look at Elizabeth Smart.

Scoop, I think they can charge her for all the time the police and other city officials spend in looking for her.

I think the girl has issues,

she has a bug-eyed look like a deer caught in the headlights.

I really don't know how Georgia authorities can file any charges on her. She took off on her own, the family assumed the worse and call the police.

The call she made to 9/11 was not in Georgia so the police in the state where the call was made could file a charge of falsely reporting an incident. Otherwise I don't think there is much else they can do.
