Writer --

it's more of the same double standards, with brainwashing of stupid folk by the mainstream media.  And certain people on blogit (who shall remain nameless) seem to fall for these liberal fallacies hook line and sinker, spewing all sorts of ridiculous comments from out of their keyboards.  The Dems via their liberal media mouthpieces get away with just about murder, while Republicans are accused of countless evils and made to look like the villains they're generally not.

Writeroflight,
Why keep repeating the same old lies! Yes I want Saddam Hussein back in power to kick these "Uncle Tom" Arabs and their American stooges out of Iraq! If only he had listened to me? Darn it!

Or to put it another way

Whining Harry is one of the Democrats who has been so loud and shrill about demanding thatrepublicans be held to the highest code of behavior. There's nothing wrong at all with applying his own standards for perfect conduct to him as well.

More on that later . . . much more . . .

To both of you:

First, thanks for reading.

Second, what's fair is fair. If a senator is going to make an ass of himself in public, be it making jokes with racial overtones (intended or not) or attacking the president in war, he or she must face the consequences. If Lott was made to pay for his intrasigence, then so must Reid. Both were wrong in what they did, both should be penalized alike.

Scoop, with all respect for your service and experience, it's childish to dismiss what Iraq has been freed from because of your hatred for the President. Do you prefer that Sadaam have remained in power to continue terrorizing his people, torturing children, raping the women, invading his neighbors, exterminating the politically incorrect minorities, and funding and sheltering terrorists? Surely you of all people see the implications of aiding and abetting the enemy.

Another angle on Reid's folly: He could have used this speaking opportunity to inspire the kids, give them something encouraging. Maybe he did. But instead he used the opportunity in true liberal fashion to attack and smear his opponents.

Writeroflight,
Where have you been? Trent Lott knew less about Senator Thurmond than his own family! So his stepping down was for being an ignorant man! I hope Senator Reid is given a medal for having the courage to stand up to this buffoon! I second the thought! George Bush is a loser! Darn it!

Do you know how childish this sounds?
If you don't say your sorry I am taking my toys and going home. for God sakes stop, they are both idiots, we have soldiers and marines dying in Iraq from the Bush folly that Bush said was over two years ago and the violence is getting worse. How about that shit for christs sake?
