Sassy,
I'd say just go to the Humane Society or local shelter and see who comes natural to ya! I didn't have much luck with the possible first two dogs but when Lindsey came along, I just knew she was a keeper. However, as you know, I do have more chances of finding a dog or puppy cause of working at the animal hospital. She's a cutie. A terror, but a cutie!

What a little sweetheart!
I want to get a dog again, but I am not even sure what kind I would pick. I like wienies to Pugs for little dogs, and Shepherds to labs for big dogs. We can count out a St. Bernard for sure. My daughter loves Huskies. Too many cuties to choose from, that is the entire problem. I can tell that your new family member is quite the character, and Stonci is adorable also.

Thanks, PoopyH.
We are happy. Except for the fact that Lindsey is sure full of ENERGY! Damn! And, she scraped her tooth across my chin tonight and drew blood. Lots of blood. Doh! That's gonna leave a mark!

JJ, I must admit, since Britt has been gone, the dog food bill had
a serious decrease! (Though I'd pay triple to have her back!) But, yeah, I know. It's gonna go right back up there in the months to come!

I am so happy that you have a new baby!! She's
too cute. Reminds me of Sir Charles as a baby. And probably Montana too, but I didn't meet him until he was 5. It probably was fate. I have a good fate/dog story....I am so glad Stonci is accepting her. They look adorable together.

Spiffy,
You know your dogs are good friends when you see the ''sneak and ambush.'' My favorite is when the ambusher waits and waits for the other to come out, then the other turns around and sneaks up to jump the ambusher from behind.
Well, Lindsey has plenty BIG feet. I guess you know what that means: increase the dog food budget. Prepare for Monster Dog. Nice post....

Thanks, Jems!
She really is a good puppy. (Despite all the biting) this too shall pass. **praying for a quick loss of puppy teeth and a quick learning of potty training!**

I have a 6 month old Dachsund with a 11 year old Lab mix. I used to call...
them Dumb and Dumber, Beavis and Butthead, now Mutt and Jeff. The real names are Mooch (lab) and Hershey (chocolate colored Dachsund). I'll have to write a post on these two soon and put up a snapshot. It's good to know that yours get along so well.
