Go to SuccessWarrior - my journal
- Add a comment
- Go to I have been posting to my other blogs again, getting in the swing of things
It's better to compile all the writings in a special blog which becomes easily readable

zentropa, I am sure I have plenty of tales to tell
I regret not keeping a journal for those 12 years. The stories that I could tell!

Good on you, SuccessWarrior =)
I would imagine that a job as a police officer would give you untold material for stories. I look forward to reading more of your blogs in the future. =)

I think it will be an integral part of my career.
I still haven't figured out what I want to be when I grow up. =)

SW, I think you are doing fine. This can turn into a hobby or a career. It's just whatever we want it to be. We get out of it what we put into it. What I like about it is that it's not a bunch of cultural expectation bs. It's just us.

SuccessWarrior...you can do it
like you said...you done it before......
I was even the same as you, at one time I had over 17 blogs in catorgorys I was never interested in....but as time went on I could not keep doing it...now I have a few blogs that I enjoy writing too...I have got rid of a blog this week, because I got bored of it....thats what usually happens to me....I love writing to my journal and poetry...but thats about it...the other blogs are more for bloggers and I don't mind that
...
anyway...once again good luck...I will look out for more writings from you...

I'm going to try to make through all my active blogs in a week
if that's possible. I'll post to some of them daily plus I am going to keep writing for my website. I'll add more writing as time permits working my way toward that book that keeps eluding me.

I have been part of Blogit since Nov 2003
but it's been an on again/off again sort of relationship. I am hoping there are no more off's. Thanks for the encouragement.

SuccessWriter, because I've been knowing you a long time, & have read many,
many of your posts, I know that you are a very good writer.
So, get to work : )
Start giving some thought to writing a "great American novel" based on your experiences as a peace officer or something like that. You can do it and if you do, you will be a success. I have no doubt about it.

Success...
...I first came to blogit in June of 2003. I've always wanted to write and wondered if I could actually get paid for doing so. I dropped out of blogit for 4 or 5 months in the summer of 2004 but came back, built up my courage and determination again with the great support from other bloggers and writing everyday gave me the discipline I needed to get into a writing mode. In Oct of last year, just before I turned 50, I finally decided to start sending articles to magazines...it seemed the next logical step. Since then I've been published at least a dozen times...all paying mags...and I'd been doing research for a book before I got sidelined with my surgery, etc. So...sorry to be so verbose..just wanted to say that if you feel writing is part of your future...blogit is a good place to start...at least it was for me. And you have great potential...I really enjoy reading you! :)
