A sledgehammer is so messy though! Warm showers, warm milk before bed, or just read a textbook on chemistry or some other boring piece of writing. Good night!

I have a sledgehammer, but I can barely lift it.
Also may have to use it on my darn computer. Have you tried Melatonin? I found it at the health food store and thought I might give it a try.

Join the club.. It's been over 20 years since I slept a night w/o medication. It runs in the family because my sisters have it too. My doctor says it has something to do with the brain not shutting down...and I paid him $60.00 to tell me that.. Well, reading does help, a bubble is excellent and a nice hot cup of herbal tea. Course, I still have to take my pills. Good luck with this because I know it can really screw up your life...

Cheers, Gypsy...
I'm an insomniac too. I'd take a bath before bed, but I can't sit in a bathtub anymore because of my back. I can only take showers during the day.

I don't have a sledgehammer, but I have some advice...
I'm an insomniac myself. So I'm told, take a nice hot bath before bedtime, read quietly (not the pc as that stimulates the eyes too much) and just try to relax. It'll help you sleep.
