I would hope that someone who did a Deep Throat on a Democrat would be held to the same ethical standards I condemn Mr. Felt for violating. He or she certainly should go through appropriate channels of criminal justice. But, unfortunately, you're both right, at least in part - such integrity among the party faithful would almost certainly not be adhered to across the board. I would do my best to pass such a test.
Scoop, I got a hoot out of that Three Stooges similie. Which one do you liken to which commentator? And, no, I hadn't heard of the Rosen acquittal, as I have been behind on the news. But given the circumstances of the trial, it doesn't surprise me.

Is he a hero? Depends on what people really think,
no one knows why he did what he did. And for the crook G. Gordon Liddy, who was a FBI agent and did 4 ½ years in prison with his role in Watergate to question the ethics of Felt is absurd.
Ariala is right if it were Clinton the republicans would be applauding it as brilliant. It is all politics, depends on which side of the fence you are on.
Now I know you hate the media but how about this. Sean Hannity, Joe Scarborough, and Chris Matthews was all over the indictment of Clinton fund-raiser David Rosen,and all they talked about how it was the end of Hillarys political future, well guess what, he was acquitted on May 27th.
So has Moe, Curly, and Larry said anything yet about the acquittal on their shows? Come on guess, right they have said nothing. The door swings both ways.

Had he ratted out on Clinton, I wonder if the right-wingers would THEN and
ONLY then consider him a hero?
