if you read Rev 7
the 144,000 is from the tribes of Israel, and the tribes are enumerated, with 12,000 coming from each except for Dan -- Manassah, of Joseph replacing.
then there is the multitude without number from all nations, etc.

empty, let me amend my last comment.
I mean that the 144,000 will probably contain the Jews and lost tribes, but that the number may be a large enough number to indicate millions, and not just limited to Jews and lost tribes, but to those who live in Christ on as constant a basis as is humanly possible.

empty handed painter,
I mean that, though the Jews and lost tribes most probably will be in that number, I believe that it is also possible that the 144,000 may be a number that could indicate millions.

Rame, if you mean the 144,000
are Jewish, then, or of the Lost Tribes of Israel?

I hope I and my family and friends
are all included in that number. Also, remember that numbers in the Bible often had a different meaning than just exactly that number. Seven times seven meant a whole lot and not just 49. I know one thing, if you want to be in that number, if you are still alive when that time comes, you need to pray for it and live life close to God in every way possible. Thanks for the post.

Painter -

Yeah, I'm out of the top 144,000, probably in the bottom 144,000. But guess what, I'm not worried. The beer is much better at the bottom of the barrel.
