Telynor,
We have to reclaim the South! This playing games with the "Electorial College" is a violation of the Constitution! Make politicians speak for America not their self-special interest!

At least, thank god, Bush can not run for a third term. Personally, I've stopped caring who is in the WH any more -- they're impossibly corrupt, they haven't a clue what the average American citizen needs, and spend their endless yakking about
anything but what this country needs -- a strong economy, jobs, a secure border and our troops home. And I don't see that happening any time soon. They've given our country away to foreign interests, and seek only to line their own pockets. So call me unpatriotic and all the rest, I'm still proud to be an American, paid taxes and did my best. As for the rest, it's not until the vast sea of unvoting citizens take their voice back will we see any change in policy here. Which is sad. RYN: I need to get to the used bookstore to find the DeMille novels -- I do intend to read them!

kingme-Regarding your comment reply to "scoop, argus, (that whatchamacallit), and me.,et al."...leave me out of it. My reference to 'more ice' referred to how the argument is overheating. As a matter of fact this issue is nothing more than a pointless Bush hater tactic - a futile attempt to convince and rope in more war dissenters. It can only strengthen our will; we must stay the course.

Scoop, ArGUS, GlennB, Flightpath, et al,
This statement as a warning to Blair, it is my opinion, is merely conjecture:
Dearlove warned Tony Blair that Bush had planned to invade Iraq long before he went to the UN.
As for Bush lying about WMD's, every intell service had the same info.
And even if the worst were shown to be true about your accusations, my whole entire point is that there is no mood in the nation to impeach a heroic president!

Argus,
The President take an oath of Office! In that Oath it is his "sworn" duty to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America! Protesting things that you have no clue about is the mark of an idiot!

You are saying a president can lie to the people about going to war?
Very interesting.

I believe the memo provides some very good proof that Bush may have lied about the WMD’s which led the U.S. into an unnecessary war.
In the memo the head of the British intelligence Richard Dearlove warned Tony Blair that Bush had planned to invade Iraq long before he went to the UN, but Bush kept telling us and congress otherwise, that there were no plans.
Dearlove also said that Bush wanted to strengthen that idea by lying about the evidence of WMD’s, and to show that Iraq had a link to 9/11 and Al Quida.
In the memo Dearlove is quoted as saying, "Bush wanted to remove Saddam through military action, justified by the conjunction of terrorism and WMD.

I just learned another valuable lesson from you....never sit here putting on mascara while scrolling through my favorites list..in case I happen on a headline like yours....I have snorted coffee but this is the first time I've rammed the mascara wand in my eyes...I may have to seen medical attention..that is hysterical...may have to write that one down somewhere....(at first I thought you must have been reading Passion's blog...)

kingmi, I see you out here on the comments page actively going along in the middle of the day. It seems strange that you are out for the summer and can do as you please. Good post here, squirrel and all. I am enjoying seeing my flag flapping in the breeze today against the backdrop of pretty green trees.

We do have to deal with the "Bite Me" thing? How can I help? I do respect your commitment to your party. And it seems you agree that it is blind loyalty! That is well within the rules but bad for America! I hope they continue to be as loyal when the cat is let out of the bag!

You have a wonderful way of getting the point across. Looking at the comments I see "you know who" was here before me. Wonder if there any spare 500 lb bombs? Know someone whose head it might serve purpose.
Seriously, they are grasping at straws with the Downing memo. Shows how desperate they have become. Sucks to be them~~

Kingmi,
There is somthing too suspicious about your logic! You seem to think it is funny and cute what is happening in Iraq! The Dead Bodies are just some coincidence of Goerge Bush's great plan for the Planet! Oh! He made a little mistake so what we are the only superpower left!
Ignore all the big warts here in America and spread Democracy! Sure everybody on the Planet is behind you man! But wait a minute! Let me use up a few of these 500 lb bombs first! We will let somebody else total up the cost later!
You my friend are either being paid or being a fool or both! Why has Armstrong Williams to date the only one who has been "outed" for both?
