I was a big MJ fan myself, twodog. But now... It's just sad.

Michael Jackson, Where Are You
No arguement here, guy. The Michael Jackson I admired as the best entertainer on the planet, faded away with each plastic surgury. A shame, he was, like Elvis, one of a kind. Now, to tell the truth, I don't know what he is. And, he should never be left alone with children again, his own, or anyone elses.

Excellent point, MysticGmeKeeper. Someone brought that point up after the
jurors were interviewed. It was on CourtTV. They stated that America has a strong reticence when it comes to convicting those it has celebritized.
As for the sexual-ness of pre-teens and Michael Jackson's arrested development, there may be some Nobel prize-winning medical literature that could come from such a study.
And not one person in their right mind believe's the man was innocent. That he was being played and extorted, maybe. That he has regular sex or in some way molests young boys, maybe. That he gets them drunk and contributes to their delinquency, maybe. That he may not be guilty in this particular case, maybe. That he is completely innocent of any wrongdoing is a ridiculous concept.

Thanks, RAME. Anyone who believed Michael was going down surely
never heard of O.J. or Robert Blake.

Not me! Men are far too sexual. If he is sleeping 365 nights a year with young males then he's getting some kind of sexual satisfaction from doing so. He may be arrested at age 12, but 12 year old are extremely sexual little guys....if any of you have forgotten. Half that jury thought he was guilty of child molestation, just not sure in this case. I agree with RAME, celebrity, money and power has a very long arm, plus jurors don't want to convict their celebrities.

Saul-relative,
I just wrote a blog on Michael Jackson's acquittal, too. With all the shenanigans that go on in courts, how much evidence gets in front of the jury, how much doesn't, and all the crookedness behind the scenes, I can't believe anyone thought Michael would be convicted. Besides, as I said in my blog, if you have enough money, you can buy the verdict you want. Good post.
