Gypsy, I know you can turn off the sound,

It's a pretty funny movie, and the last pic reminded me of it,

Spitfire... I turn the sound off of those games sometimes.
You can turn off the music through options. Those were some freaky pics! We had a lady drive off an overpass and land on the roof of a house!

JJ,
I just saw your other comment. I think those people were actually the Florida Power people, but an expert definitely had to tape the gator. I know I sure as hell wouldn't do it! I don't do gators.

Are you familiar with the video game? He's probably dealing drugs out of the ice cream truck or something if it's anything like the others in the series.

Spiffy,
Walk in, while the game is playing, carrying a hammer. Ask ''what costs more, headphones or a game console?'' I think any of the new consoles have a headphone plug that shuts off the speakes. You can get much better sound through the headphones anyway, unless the sound is going into a good quality stereo. If he listens to the radio at the same time and refuses to change habits, send him to the day care center.
The only thing I can think of that relates to any kind of church/witchcraft matters is the burnings at the stake and the dunking chairs of Salem for after the ''trial'' fun. They also used stocks and pillories. Those were used for punishment, and were probably used on witches. They actually look like a device used by perverts for unhindered sexual abuse, but I'm sure that the church would have considered that to be part of the punishment of the Devil People. The men probably considered it ''good, clean, fun,'' and an ideal training area to help sons to grow up to be ''good, god-fearing, manly, gentlemen.'' Society then was remarkably similar to what it is today.

Yeah, he knows that I'm too easily overwhelmed by noise to want to push it. I'm afraid the ding-a-ling of the ice cream truck all night would make me a little ding-a-ling

Spitfire and Passionflower
I have read ant least one article that indicated that the Bible used to have (centuries ago) passages which dealt with various things which the monks edited out over the years... for example, regarding reincarnation and visions/precognition. I wish I could recall more about it.

after I had posted that last comment to ya! Sorry. Anyway, I might actually check that out in the bible. Thanks for the specific reference to where I can find it.

Thanks, Passion.
Please excuse the overlapping text on my website; I am having trouble getting into the editing to fix it. I may take it down all together and build a new one. Anyway, ya know, I'd like to hear more about that "Gift of the Spirit" in the bible. As you know, I don't read the bible or follow a particular organized religion (brought up Jewish so I'm familiar with that) but I've never heard the Gift of the Spirit reference. Mostly, I've been told that I'm doing the work of the devil by being a clairsentient, a witch, and divination work.

Spitfire....I also meant to ask you if
You know very much about the Bible...1 Cor. 12 is where it talks about Gifts of the Spirit--Word of Wisdom and Word of Knowledge...the church is reluctant to delve into these areas although they are Gifts from God sent to help us deal with certain issues or problems. Or simply to enhance our walk with God.
The church seems mostly scared it might get into questionable areas or go over the deep end. I'm afraid I have to agree when I think of all the famous preachers who have sorely disappointed us over the years. But you don't throw out the baby with the bath water and there are a great many teachers and preachers who do a great job.

Spitfire,
I asked my boyfriend to turn off the sound on his Tetris game or the sound of the Russian Red Army Band would have driven me cuckoo. Can he get headphones? I mean, seriously, that's rude. Hmm, how did that car get up there?

I checked out your website. It's awesome.
I've always had these gifts as well, but my southern Baptist teachings caused me to squelch anything to do with contacting the dead. I once had a strong gift though in the area of knowing the future. In the Bible these gifts are called, "Gifts of the Spirit" and they're used to help Christians in various ways/areas.
