I think it really depends upon what's in the glass....
If it's metamucil then it's half full and that's how much more there is to choke down. If it's a gin-and-tonic then sadly, it's half empty and I'll be needing another soon....lol...

Straightforward, I really don't even think about whether it is half-full or half-empty. My thoughts always go to where's the ice cubes. However much there is in the glass, I want it to be nice and cold and tasty. None of that tepid yuck for me. I want it to be the best it can be..

This was analyzed that optimistic people think of the glass as half full. Pessimistic people think of it as half empty.
