Saul

GREAT post.  I'm so sick of these silly people in power hurling insults at each other and calling for apologies. The democrats always back peddle and apologize, and the republicans never do. Get over it. Its the way it is and its not going to change. My disgust is bi-partisan. And you are absolutely correct...Karl ROve is a political genius, he got Bush elected twice and keeps him pretty well insulated and protected for the most part doesn't he? No apologies forthcoming from that crowd of the self-righteous, and infalliable

You know what's funny, scoop? I sat down to right a post on what a true
jerk and insensitive prick Karl Rove must be to say something like that about his fellow Americans.  And about halfway through the first paragraph, it hit me.  I'm sorry to say I missed the interview you spoke of, but am glad to say that I figured it out before I posted.  All the other stuff I said would have remained, about his right to free speech, Bush not having to call for his resignation, etc., but everything would have had a slightly different slant and been scathing.

You are exactly right and I will tell you, the columnist for the
New York Post, Fred Dicker said basically the same on TV. I was riled but he calmed me down with  very similar thought as yours. Thanks
