Very sad

A least once a week during the summer I read of incidents like this, you have to wonder where their heads are.

As far as the visitation is concerned, I blew it with my daughter. I was divorced when she was six and I moved 135 miles away. Back then, in the 70's, we did not have the family court act and my visits were few a far between, but it was my fault, I will always take the blame for it. Today she is 30 and we are close but I know I missed so much of the good times with her.

There were several incidents when the Crabbys lived in Florida of

children being left in cars... one in a van at a church preschool.... and no criminal charges could be brought because of separation of church and state. Little Crabby will never go to a church run school for that very reason. No protection under the law.... same thing with all these molestations of children by priests... what a joke our constitution has become.

Crabby agrees about the disengaged parents... we all feel at times we are 'distracted', writing, working, studying, researching.... whatever... Crabby knows it only takes a second for your eyes to be off your child for tragedy to strike... Crabby tries to get her blogging/writing/studying done early in the morning... nap time and late at night..... so glad there are 2 of us living in Crabby!!!! Talk about burning the candle at both ends....speaking of... it is 12:40 in Crabby's corner of the world. G'night........... (Crabby wrote this post last night.... when her battery was low.... her laptop went into hybernation.... Crabby was amazed to find this post still here this afternoon... several hours later.... )

Forever,

Crabby.... shaking her head.

The Ex

My Ex is prone to calling the night before he is to pick up James to tell him his boss needs him to work.  There are times he will go four weeks before seeing James because he puts his job first.  And the boss knows this.  That is why he asks him.

It isn't like he deals with life and death at his job.  It is construction, for goodness sake.

It kills me to see my son hurt because he rates second in his dad's life.

It's sad when a child has to die in such a senseless way...
due to the careless stupidity of a parent.  How such a intelligence-deprived woman got a job at a daycare is beyond me!
