You're not the first person that's happened to, Jemmie
I've heard of this happening to other people too.

Hold off the CG more responsability thing
and go to the other interview. You gotta look out for yourself, remember?

To answer that last question, that just seems to be the way the universe typically works...now as for the dilemma, go for an interview first and if they like you and you like the job, then I think you should go with that one, as it is more related to your "field." Hopefully you can still work at CG on weekends like you said. But think long term--which would give you more satisfaction?

AMAZING!!!
Isn't it always feast or famine.
Of course you feel loyalty to cinnamon girl because they hired you first.
On the other hand, an editing job is what you were looking for.
Also... the post office job is around the corner.
I'd hate to be in your position.
I would probably take my time and investigate how stable the editing position is. See if you can talk to employees there and find out about employee turnover. You will want the job that will pay more for the longer amount of time!
PRAYER WORKS!... I'VE BEEN PRAYING FOR YOU!

Jobs, Jobs and more Jobs
It's truly feast or famine Jemms
. I think you are right - look at the editing job and keep going forward with CG and more responsibility and hours (WooHoo, good for you !). Not sure if editing jobs are the same there as in Canada but here they tend to not pay that well.
So you could be one of those high powered women - working at CG with the steady income to finance your passion of writing. Best of both worlds !

tough call!
try and play both of for as long as possible - especially if you're not certain of how many hours you'll get at CG or if you still need to do an interview for the other job...
