Just another day...
9 times out of 10, I'm working. I usually miss out on the fireworks. This year, I am not working. I am attending my godmother's after-wedding party. She plans on doing some fireworks, so I may get to see some this year.

Hello Dances...
I don't do much of anything on the fourth because frankly, I HATE THE HOLIDAY!!! Not that I'm unpatriotic, but there's far too much noise and drunkeness for my liking. Last year, my neighbours drove me completely round the bend and bloody well up the wall!!!!
Here's a thought...Maybe you could gather some of your friends and go to a cinema to catch a movie?? If all goes according to plan that's what my roommate and I will be doing. We'll also have a wine cooler and watch movies here at home when we get back from the cinema.
I hope you manage to have some kind of fun over the holiday...God bless.

I generally sit on my front porch, shooting bottlerockets at pedestrians who trample across my lush, green yard. Occasionally, I sip moonshine from a mason jar then shoot it out of the gap between my two front teeth - challenging my kids to do the same with their grape juice. We call it, "Waterfall Wars." If I get bored with that or bottle rockets, I turn on the hose and make people dance and stubmle. I act dumb, and I turn in cirlces screaming, "How do ya turn this blasted piece of snake rubber off?" Then the kids join in with waterbaloons.
Okay, but on a serious note - I buy a bunch of legal, Class C fireworks, arm myself with a hose, and let the kids create their own fireworks display in the street. From our front porch we can see 4 differently fireworks display put on by the city. And ofcourse, I sip of a bit of Jack Daniels...but not too much - gotta stay up on the hose. My biological father is a fireman...he taught me well.
