How did you know I was writing away in someone's comments and made myself a note...just that minute...to come look you up and see if you know this thing I keep trying to remember....now, do not ask me why...just my silly mind....and can't but I figure you will know...since you seem to be the resident musical genius...what is the little ditty "roll me over in the clover, roll me over in the clover and do it again..now this is number one and the fun has just begun...roll me over, lay me down and do it again.....(hmmm, remembered more that time than I had before)...it's drivin' me crazy...bet I haven't thought of that since band bus!!! I think number two his hand is on my shoe, number three on my knee, number four, knockin' at the door - gee, just asking you is shakin' it loose...I wonder how old this thing is...really corny......

I had to go look up some stuff on Voltaire because I couldn't remember from a paper I wrote on my in the day...there was all this hulabaloo about whether his heart and brain were stolen and whether he ever professed his faith and all that...really an interesting guy. Looks like they have his heart, but not his brain...big deal.....the guy is waaaay dead!

Kimgmi,
I may get around to it, as they say, "so many books, so little time". I've never read any Voltaire, but I hear he had to escape to Prussia or somewhere to avoid whichever Louis of the day that he had offended. So much for sarcasm, it seems that reigning monarchs and rulers don't take kindly to being lampooned.

mary x, you could read Candide in 36 hours!
It's short and great! Story was that he was on experimental drugs at that time...something with speed in it.

Kingmi,
When you're hot, you're hot, I guess Voltaire must have had to spit it out. But I'll bet he had to take a break afterwards. I'm not sure about this, was it Orwell who used to quote that line, satirically, in one of his books?
